As a Practice, we are always keen to receive feedback from our patients and people who access our services. In the past we have received this feedback by completing a Practice Survey. The survey asked patients to rate the Practice in several key areas and we then reviewed the feedback to see how our services could be improved or developed.
2014 / 2015 Patient Survey
For the 2014/15 NHS Year, we again worked with our Patient Participation Group to develop a Patient Survey. Our survey was based on our 2013/14 survey – we felt that it was important that we had some directly comparable results so that we could track our progress since last year’s survey. We also introduced some new questions to help keep the survey fresh.
We ran our between 9 February 2015 and 20 February 2015. The survey was available to complete online via the Practice website and was offered to all patients visiting Practice between these dates. We also emailed our virtual Patient Group and invited them to complete the survey. As a Practice, we worked hard to ensure that the Survey was completed by a wide representation of our patients. In total, 290 surveys were completed.
The completed surveys were then collated and analysed and a report detailing the feedback for each question was produced. We discussed the outcomes of the Practice Survey with our Patient Participation Group at our meeting on 23 March 2015. At that meeting we reviewed and discussed the survey results and the feedback comments provided and agreed an Action Plan on how we could move the key points forward.
The 2015 Patient Survey results and Action Plan can be accessed by clicking on the links below. The Practice report detailing achievement against the Patient Participation Direct Enhanced Service is also attached.
